A trip to and through some of the major (and some overlooked) highlights of Historic Birmingham, Alabama. From its founding as an Iron and Steel hub, to its struggle with Civil Rights, and everything in between. Over the years, we have developed relationships with the owners and staff of our historic sites, so we have organized special access to many of them that can only be found on this tour. Travel in comfort with an intimate group to explore the history of the Magic City.
A stroll through our existing and sometimes lost architectural heritage. It will cover the Theatre District, The Florentine Building (the cities most costly building per sq ft, at the time of its construction), the Heaviest Corner On Earth and points in-between. This daytime tour is offered several times daily, so that it can fit into nearly any scheduled visit to the Magic City.
Some places will be shared samples, others will be full meals that will have plenty of leftovers to take with you to enjoy later.

This one of a kind experience showing off some of our unique small shops. Birmingham has a fascinating collection of stores that can only be found here. From one of the largest fair trade shops in America to a used bookstore right out of Harry Potter…a unique estate jewelry store to an oddities store that has to be seen to be believed… this is a fantastic way to spend time in the city, shopping and learning a bit about the history of our town. Tours include plenty of time to grab an artisan cocktail along the way, plus stops at the city’s most colorful, selfie-worthy murals.
