We do Birmingham history here, and this is no doubt historic! In our city, Frank Stitt is the Godfather, and all of us that slave away at stoves just knew that it would eventually happen and on Sunday it did!
The James Beard Award is basically the Oscars for chefs, and we all KNEW that Highlands deserved one, but for ten years they were nominated but never won. Last Sunday changed all that.
